Branch Manager (FAVP/AVP/SAVP/VP/SVP)

Qualifications & other competencies:

· Masters in any discipline from a recognized university.
· 10-18 years working experience (depending on post) in overall banking in any reputed Commercial Bank with a minimum of 03-05 years of experience as a branch manager.

· Should have good knowledge about branch management, business development, product marketing with high commitment to customer service.

· Should have sound knowledge in general banking/credit operation/foreign exchange operation/trade finance/working capital finance/industrial finance and overall credit management with a pro-active approach.

· Should be able to take challenge, achieve targets and give  all-out effort for ensuring excellence in banking.

· Should be able to manage the risks and having good knowledge about Basel-II requirements.

Should possess the knowledge and skill of preparing performance budget.

· Exposure to innovative banking practices and involvement in organizational development are essential.

Foreign Trade (EO/SEO/FAVP/AVP)

Qualifications & other competencies:

· Masters in any discipline from a recognized university. Candidates having MBA or Masters in Management/Accounting/Finance/Banking/Marketing/Economics will be given preference.

· Overall banking experience should be 05-10 years (depending on post) out of which 03 years as FEO/EO/SEO/FAVP or in a similar position.

· Candidates must know the procedure of export L/C, handling of Back to Bank L/C, checking export documents, issuance of acceptance, collection of export proceeds, settlement of BB L/C payment, handling of cash incentives files and have knowledge of different circulars related to export, Export permit order etc.

· Candidates must know the procedure of import L/C, checking of documents, lodgment and payment against import documents, reporting to Bangladesh Bank and have the knowledge of different circular letters related to import, import permit order, etc.

· Candidates must know the procedure of issuance of Foreign Demand Draft, Foreign Telegraphic Transfer, opening of student file, endorsement of passport, payment system of Foreign Demand Draft, inward & outward remittance, opening of FC account etc.

· Should have adequate knowledge and experience in core banking and related activities.

· Should be well conversant with core risk management.

· Should have significant skill as a foreign exchange professional with proactive attitude.

SEO/FAVP/AVP (Asst. Secretary/Deputy Secretary)

Qualifications & other competencies:

· Masters in any discipline from a recognized university.

· 10-12 years working experience in overall banking in any reputed Commercial Bank with a minimum of 03 years of experience as EO/SEO/FAVP or in a similar post.

· Should be well conversant with Bank Company Act-1991, Companies Act-1994, SEC Act- 1993 and other related laws/rules/regulations.

· Should have significant exposure to company affairs & handling of board matters.

· Should have good drafting skill.

· Should be well conversant about regulatory rules, regulations, compliance requirement, etc.

· Exposure to innovative banking practices is an added advantage.

Senior Assistant officer (Cash)/Officer (Cash)

Qualifications & other competencies:

· Masters in any discipline from a recognized university for the post of Officer (cash).

· Post-Graduation in any discipline from a recognized university for the post of Senior Assistant officer (cash).

· 01 - 02 years of experience will be preferred.

· Ability to ensure smooth cash services operations as per Bank’s policy.

· Ability to ensure proper shorting, stitching and keeping of cash.

· To make payment and receive deposits efficiently in a shortest possible time.

· Others activities related to cash.

· Ability to take challenge, achieve target and give  all-out effort for ensuring excellence in banking.

· Ability to take the risk & commitment to customer service.

General Requirements:

· Should not have 3rd class/division in any academic result.

· Should have sound track record of service delivery.

· Age below or equal to 45 year(s) for the Branch manager and foreign trade related post.

· Computer literacy is a must.

· Strong communication & interpersonal skill.

· Should be smart and presentable.

· Should have leadership ability to motivate others and work under pressure.

· Selected Candidates will have to serve the bank at any of its branches throughout the country.
